Recycling = Supporting Local College Students

We just wanted to give you a quick update. Our family business is growing, but it's still all about helping to supporting our kids while they are in college. Below is a quick update on the kids you are helping to support by being a Green Teens Customer:

Seth is a Freshman at OSU this year. He is doing very well. He is making new friends and enjoying his classes. He is taking business classes but is also enjoying his architecture class. He is thinking about getting a Finance Degree, but we won't be surprised if he goes for Architecture instead. You should see the village of mansions he has built in Minecraft!

Sydney attended a semester at OBU and then decided to come home and attend TCC. She recently received her CNA license and is about to start working at St. Francis in one of the ICU units. Even more exciting is that she has just been accepted in the Nursing Program at TCC and will start Nursing classes in January! It took her a year to get all of the prerequisites done just to apply. It was a lot of work and we are very proud of her!

Have you met Chevy our new Route Driver?

Chevy graduated with Seth from Owasso high school. He is currently attending TCC and also working for Green Teens as our main Route Driver. He is doing a FANTASTIC job and we are really excited to have him on our team and helping to support him through school as well.

Growing the Business

Kelly and I (Jake) are continuing to invest in the business, which in turn is helping to fund our our children's education. We would like to thank each and everyone of our customers! You are helping us to support our kids as well as recycling and helping to conserve our natural resources.

We have been very blessed with the business. Although it has been a lot of hard work, it has helped us to teach our kids great lessons in life as well as help them as they begin the next phase of their lives. Now I get to say things to them like "Welcome to the real world" and "have fun Adulting today". Once again, we can't thank our customers enough.

We recently invested in another truck and trailer to help us expand and continue to grow the business. We are visiting with the City of Skiatook about possibly adding a route there soon!

HELP WANTED:

We are currently looking for a part time driver or two. Please let us know if you can refer someone who might like to drive for us 1 or 2 days a week. You can send an email to Jake@greenteens.net
